Biography: 

Emanuela is a PhD candidate at the Department of Political Science of Vrije Universiteit Brussel and at the Department of Political Science of the West University of Timisoara, Romania. She holds a MA in International and Diplomatic Studies from the University of Genoa, Italy and a BA in International Relations and European Studies from the West University of Timisoara, Romania.
She is also the External Affairs Representative of the West University of Timisoara in Brussels and  the Scientific Secretary of the Ubuntu Center for African Studies of the West University of Timisoara.
Her doctoral research focuses on the political representation of women at European and national parliamentary levels.
